I'm debating trying out for Guitar Center's Guitarmageddon competition. My question is, how good do you have to be? I've been playing for 32 years. I'm not really looking to win it (although you never know), just to see how I'd do.
Don't worry about how good you are. I beleive there are several different layers of judging, ,so of you got the chops you will make it to the top, if you aren't that good, you will find out pretty quickly.
I think it would be great to do it! I would like to go just to meet others I could get together with and jam (like a bass and drummer). I think it's a great place to make those contacts. I think GC gives you a little something for entering which is nice.
Good luck with it. Tell us how is goes.
