hey guys,
is guitarport really worth it??..i used to record using my digitech rp200 into my line it and fruity loops and cool edit pro..but my digitech got spoilt...so instead of givin a fortune to repair it i thought i would maybe buy a new pedal...i also have stompboxes and a cheap amp...i never tried recording with those not knowing whether it was feasible ...so any advice?

I don't know anything about the guitarport but I like other Line6 products.

You can record with your amp if you use a mic.

I tried it but nothing happened. I use only guitarport for direct input recording and there are some great amp models and effects with it. I've downloaded tons of guitar tones form Line6 website. It costs like $8 a month to download tones until your hearts content. I think its brilliant for $100.:icon_thum

hey thanks a lot guys...really helped..i like to play instrumentals and love tones like steve vai and vinnie moore and marty friedman etc....does the guitarport have a good range of tones...like from metal to jazz to rock??it should i guess.l..cos i saw eric johnson in the promo video...that say a lot about the sound!!
