Im looking to buy a little drum machine for practice and some recording on my gnx3 could anybody give me some ideas. Im lookin to spend about 200 and really have no idea who makes decent drum machines. I guess something more ideal for rock .Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Unchained,There are a couple different brands in your price range.....
You have a Sam Ashe or Guitar Center near you??? . Boss makes a pretty good one ( I have an old DR-5 that I use) also Alesis makes one to. I would suggest going down to your local store, and just play around with them, see what you like....

I bought a Roland DR880 a few months ago. It is the best drum machine I've heard, Plus it has awesome guitar effects built right in, all you have to do is plug your guitar into the DR and play. Check out some of my music, all were recorded using only the DR880, my bass and my guitar, straight thru the DR. Good Luck.......G-man
