oh i forgot to mention.....be as descriptive as possible. thanks!!!!:bannana_g
If you're 5150 has slave inputs, connect the xt's output to the 5150's slave inputs.

If it doesnt, You could try going Guitar\XT\front of amp

Or you could try running the XT through the fx loop.
Sorry if im being too non specific, because im just assuming...... dont hold your breath waiting to get a good sound by running an amp modeller through a real amp though. Some guys say they can make it sound good, but i've only had bad luck. Good luck with it all though :thumb:
The XT is really not designed to run in the loop....but there are ways to make it work. I would just plug your guitar into the XT and take the line out (mono) and run it into the return on the head....fast and easy. I had the same set-up and just gave up and bought a Vetta HD.
ok, my next question is how do you stop it from getting that annoying hum. i can hear ike the power going through the unit. any ideas?

Well you can use the noise gate on the POD, try the ground lift switch on the back of the head.....or as a drastic measure go down to a hardware store and get one of those things that goes from a 3 prong plug to a 2 prong and put it on the amp.....but you run the risk of getting shocked if something goes wrong with the amp someday.
