Sooooooo weird! I'm home with the flu, wacked out on tylenol & benadryl, yet I couldn't seem to stop mixing this song. I started it several months ago, then got sidetracked with other projects.

Anyway, I'm home sick today and what version do I finally get the mix (semi-) right? Thirteen, of course. Unlucky 13. Considering the song subject, I suppose it's appropriate, but still...

I really like it, so I thought I'd post it.

As always, any comments, suggestions, criticisms, etc., would be most appreciated. Please don't hurt me.

Flu or Not... Great Job. This is one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs. Particularly the version on their live album. Where did you find the backing track for this one?

Actually, I do all my own backing tracks. Not that this one is especially good or anything, but ...

I've searched the 'Net for a lot of the songs I've sequenced and they just aren't there, so I make 'em myself, with varying degrees of success.

I'm really thinking about workiing on finishing this one; I really like it, especially after repeated listening.

Like David Gilmour, I often do several run-throughs of a solo and comp together one complete solo at the end. I recorded two solos and was planning on listening through to the second solo before starting on the third. When I accidentally activated both tracks on playback, it really created this trippy, echo-ey solo. I dunno, I really like it but on final mixdown I might still do a complete solo. Still, I"m pretty happy with it.
