This sounds like an FM broadcast, and I suspect this might be sourced from vinyl and misdated. I'm checking my old JB FM's to see if that's the case. Thank you for all of the early Jackson Browne shows!

 

My understanding is this is a partial of 10/9/73, ultrasonic studios in Hempstead NY, (WLIR broadcast) it was recorded on Jackson’s birthday, 10/9/73, but this November date was most likely the airdate.

 

OK, thanks. I compared it against my copy of the 10/9/73 Hempstead recording I have (which is better) and realized that this is an edited (maybe for boot LP?) copy after you mentioned it. This version appears to have vinyl pops and clicks. Thanks for clearing that up.

This show is a edited version of the 10-09-1973 show. This morning I compared this against 2 other copies. Why the taper would not include stories and the song Take It Easy i couldn't begin to tell you. So if you have to have everything then go ahead and download it but it is none the less a copy of already shows out there.
