From Matt LaPorte(R.I.P.) tour diary:
Day 11.........alright,here`s the deal...we are still playing in Munich tomorrow(monday) but it is an acoustic show,
it is at a different venue(which might be called backstage,i think i overheard.....)so there is only one acoustic
show in Belgium,as originally scheduled........................................ .................................................
...............Italy is the greatest fucking place my eyes have ever seen,we had 2 INCREDIBLE shows there,
each with relatively small crowds of about 300,but my lord,........did they make up for it in enthusiasm,
they were singin' louder than the p.a. system........................................... ...i cannot begin to describe
what REAL italian food tastes and looks like,simply unbelievable............i was here last year(in Milano)but was
stuck in a hotel room,and saw nothing compared to this trip;this morning we woke up and were driving thru the
Alps..........................words do not express what it looked like,i have traveled alot with this and other bands,
.......but i have NEVER seen ANYTHING like what these snow-capped mountains looked like.....................
it would make an atheist believe......in something,anyway........MIND-BLOWING.
