Hey Folks!

With the apparent revival of Journey on this board in the last few weeks, we've seen some great music and great shows. I'm feeling very grateful to some of the posters who have been sharing so much lately. Anyway, I was thinking that some folks may have missed some shows, and there are many shows which are out there which haven't been posted yet. So, here is the list of Journey shows and files I have (at least I think this is all of them), so if you've missed any of these shows and would like them reposted or see something that hasn't shown up here yet, let me know, and I'll try to put them up over the next few days.

Charge Of The Light Brigade
Infinity Demos
Elmo’s Theme (60 second unreleased instrumental)
1973-12-31 Winterland, San Francisco, California
1974-05-27 The Record Plant, Sausalito, California (whole show is one mp3 track)
1977-07-04 Diamond Head Crater, Honolulu, Hawaii (Robert Fleishman on vocals)
1978-06-10 Passaic, New Jersey “Beginning The Lights”
1978-10-?? King Biscuit Flower Hour, including 4 tracks from June 1978 in Chicago “In Tails”
1979-08-09 Chicago, Illinois “The Industrial Evolution”
1980-04-12 The Summit, Houston, Texas
1981-07-27 Osaka, Japan
1981-09-06 Alpine Valley, East Troy, Michigan “Breakin’ All The Rules”
1981-11-06 Houston, Texas (This is a partial boot of the same show as the recent DVD/CD released by Journey)
1981-11-22 The Forum, Los Angeles, California “California Dreamin’”
1982-06-26 Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, California (Three tracks from Day At The Green)
1983-03-02 Budokan, Tokyo, Japan
1983-06-04 JFK Stadium, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania “Big Escape”
1983-07-21 Norman, Oklahoma (Last two tracks are each partial)
1986-??-?? Ohio “Another Night In Any Town”
1986-10-09 Detroit, Michigan “Satellite Transmission”
1986-10-15 The Spectrum, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
1986-12-31 Long Beach, California “Reachin’ For Long Beach”
1991-11-03 Bill Graham Memorial, San Francisco, California (Two songs in one mp3)
1998-11-?? Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (Partial track of “When You Love A Woman”)
1998-12-29 “Ask The Lonely” from unknown location
1999-08-14 Concord Pavilion, California (Two tracks, “Separate Ways” and “Send Her My Love”)
1999-07-05 Atlanta, Georgia (Single track only, “Have A Good Time” – Not the best recording, but I’ve never heard this song anywhere else)
1999-??-?? New York (Single track – first recording I know of featuring “World Gone Wild”)
2000-12-30 Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nevada
2001-02-07 Hiroshima, Japan “Far East Arrival”
2001-10-20 Atlanta, Georgia (Includes “Trial By Fire” and “Liberty”)
2004-06-30 Casino Rama, Rama, Ontario, Canada “A Northern Journey”
2005-08-24 Casino Rama, Rama, Ontario, Canada “Casino Rama”
2005-10-09 Los Angeles, California “Tinseltown”
2006-06-05 Manchester, England
2006-06-09 Arrow Rock Festival
2006-07-13 Atlanta, Georgia (Jeff Scott Soto on vocals)
2006-07-15 Charlotte, North Carolina (Jeff Scott Soto on vocals)
2006-07-24 Clarkston, Michigan (Jeff Scott Soto on vocals)

Probably 50-60% of this stuff came from this board originally, and I am NOT claiming credit for any of these shows - I'm just trying to pass along some great music that I've accumulated. If this is not OK for any reason, I'll ask the WM to remove this post.

Thanks!

This is a great idea! I was thinking about doing this because I want to post more of what I have, but I want to see want people have/don't have. I see several that I have, that you haven't listed, which I can upload. These include:

1976-03-19 - Orpheum Theater, Boston, MA, USA - [Live In Boston '76]
1976-05-01 - Riviera Theater, Chicago, IL, USA - [Live In Chicago '76]
1976-12-31 - Winterland Arena, San Francisco, CA, USA (this was just put up here by shodan)
1978-04-28 - [Midnight Special] - (DVD from DIME; includes "Wheel in the Sky", "Feeling That Way", and "Anytime")
1978 - Chicago, IL, USA - [Journey On PBS Soundstage] - (DVD from DIME; includes various songs and blues jamming)
1981-07-31 - Tokyo, Japan (DVD from jamtothis, might still be available)
1983-02-25 - Furitsu Taikukan, Osaka, Japan - [Diamond Night]
1998-06-22 - Osaka Kouseinenkin Hall, Osaka, Japan - [Trial By Battle]
2001-01-30 - Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo, Japan - [Round And Round]

I think I got the last two from here, so they might still be available here.
I might just rip the audio from the ones that are DVDs and post it. (BTW, anyone know of a good [free] program that will do this?)

And here are the ones I haven't seen anywhere (and thus don't have):
Elmo’s Theme (60 second unreleased instrumental)
1978-10-?? King Biscuit Flower Hour, including 4 tracks from June 1978 in Chicago “In Tails”
2001-07-02 Hiroshima, Japan “Far East Arrival”
2001-10-20 Atlanta, Georgia (Includes “Trial By Fire” and “Liberty”)

It'd be great if you could post those whenever you get a chance!
Other hoarders: post your stuff! :biggthump

Hey Steve, thanks for responding! You were right, Trial By Battle and Round And Round are still available on the board (and I think I downloaded them when they were originally posted, but now I can't find them ). I will start working on posting the ones you requested tonight. Please keep in mind that the two I have listed from 1998 with WYLAW and ATL are only the one song each. I don't have the rest of those shows, although I would love to if someone has them.

It would be great if you would post some of the stuff you have, too. The 1976 shows would be great (just got the one from Shodan), as well as the Diamond Night show...who am I kidding? I'll take anything and everything you post! I have become a total Journey fanatic through the years since my first exposure to them back in 1983 or so. I will eventually post everything you requested, although it may take a few days.

If anyone else has a list they'd like to share, come and join the fun!

Thanks.

(JK  )

This is a good idea. Let me study what you guys don't have and I'll try to fill in the blanks.... Good post. Wonder if we should have a Mod move this thread to Bootleg Requests?

You guys are great. This is one heck of an idea.
As you are probably aware, i am pretty new to this site although i have posted a fair few files.
I have however not posted any Journey apart from the Day On The Green cuts, and Journey are my fave band, and Perry my musical hero.

I do have a fair few shows that you have not listed, that i was always intending on posting eventually, but i am getting requests for other things at present and i work long hrs so its finding the time.

I shall post a list of what i have in the next day or so. I shall then post anything that anyone requests.

As i said earlier, you guys are great, and i am really loving my time here at guitars101, especially amongst fellow Journey fans.

Best Regards
Chris.

Well, gosh:blush: - I was worried that everyone would think this was a dumb idea! Thanks for the responses. I've got everything that has been requested so far zipped up and ready to go, but my upload speed is pathetic tonight (stupid cable modem!), so I'll have to upload from work starting first thing in the morning. I have a pretty decent DSL connection there, and I'm the network administrator, so it shouldn't be a problem to get it all put up during the workday tomorrow. I can't wait to see what some of the other "hoards" around here might contain (this means YOU gqdaddy and mystichealer, and anyone else who has anything to share)!

Let the Journey keep on flowin'!

You might as well put the single songs together in one download, rather than one one song per post.

I'll definately work on posting the shows I have, may take a few days but I will post them!

And I know gqdaddy has some good shows he's hoarding! :squint:

Better idea: make a whole Journey bootleg subforum! Van Halen shouldn't be the only band that gets one...

The 7-24-06 show was posted here I believe, try and find it, but I'll post it if necessary (that's not to say no one else can upload it!) I'll add the 2006 Arrow show to my list of shows to upload.

I'm glad you have some stuff to share! You can put each show in a zip file and upload them to a file hosting site like http://megaupload.com or http://linkmyfile.com and there are others. Then just create a new thread with the link and everyone will download the show and be happy and shower thanks on you. :icon_blah
Hey, there is some truth to that!

Hi Guys,

great initiative. I'm new to this site and I must say: It rocks!

What I see is that almost every post is in MP3. Why does nobody post in FLAC or SHN files, so you can burn in LOSSLESS format?
I rather prefer to have a show in good Lossless quality than more shows in lower quality.

IS it possible to post in this files??

As said earlier at the start of this thread. Lets all pull together on this and share what we all have. This is a great time for all of us to stop hoarding all our stuff and let other Journey fans hear these wonderful shows from over the years.

Oh and PLEASE lets not forget the Steve Perry stuff too (Solo stuff).
So come on guys, tell us what you have please, and SHARE!!

As a big Journey fan, I want to thank everyone for sharing their shows!! I'd never had the chance to hear anything before, and it's been such a treat to listen to the ones I've downloaded so far from here! I second the requests that have been listed so far (esp. the Augeri era), but am just happy for anything! Hopefully I'll have something to share someday to pay you all back. I so appreciate everyone taking the time to do this!!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
