One of the best Audience Bootlegs of the 1984 Defenders of the Faith tour

Reviews: Defenders of the Faith tour / Metal Conqueror Tour.

It began on January 6 on the television show The Tube, where they performed the songs "Electric Eye", "Freewheel Burning" and "You've Got Another Thing Comin '" and was the only UK performance in 1984. On the other hand, two stages were created, one for concerts in Europe and the other for those performed in North America. The first was smaller and consisted of a back curtain that had the image of The Metallian the character of the disc. For its part, the second stage and due to the larger venues, the tour team built The Metallian in a giant size, where its legs could be moved and its mouth was opened so that Rob Halford could go out with his motorcycle. .

During their time in several European countries they had Ted Nugent as a guest artist. For their part, and during their North American presentations, they had Kick Ax and Great White as the opening act.

As a matter of fact, near the end of the concert at Madison Square Garden in New York, their fans destroyed the chairs and threw them at each other while the band played "Hell Bent for Leather." This incident cost them to disburse close to $ 250,000 for the damages committed and also the prohibition to play at that venue again.
