I loved that first Kind Diamond album, but that tour did not come to Toronto (went to Kitchener,Ontario instead! and damn it, Megadeth and Sacrifice were also on the bill!!)
but I did see them play on the second album tour, and was totally blown away, even if the stage they had was cramped and Trouble was not allowed to play as their gear could not also fit in with King's bands equipment and stage set (I heard they still were not able to give us the "full show")

I just watched this again last night, a huge thanks for sharing this video!
If you have seen Mercyful Fate bootleg videos (me, hardly any), then this feels and sounds exactly like them!
The songs on King Diamond's debut Fatal Portrait were in the same style, they just did not have as many different riffs jammed altogether in each song.
Pretty sure that Ozzy and Judas Priest fans would love the material if they have never heard it.
