I got this today and have never really been a slide player. After tuning up to open E, a blues backing track, an a few brews,I think this thing is awesome!!! I learned more in 10 mins than any video or book could teach me in 2 days.Right into my guitar rig an this thing sounds amazing!I'll post a little sound sample real soon.I bought it new from musicians friend for less than 50 bucks.I also got the slide for 20$ shipped to my door.Ya cant beat that,A great buy!

Artisan is the brand. Its something totally different for me.I like it because its like relearning the guitar in open tunings.I am getting a electric coral sitar next within a week or to.I cant wait to try it! For 59.95$ this one is a keeper for sure.

Sounds great, you might want to make sure you drag your pinky and ring finger on the strings behind the bar to cut down on extraneous string noise. I was looking at those in their catalog, right now I play an old acoustic squareneck Regal, that I found in a violin repair shop. The owner let me have it for 10 bucks. I almost bought the electric lap slide from Musicians Friend, but wanted a mandolin more right now. So I got this. It's great fun playing something different.:icon_thum
