Hello! I'm a newbie here... I just recently got in to home recording. I wanted to say there's a bunch of GREAT players on here; wow, what a killer site! I'm going to go check out all of the smokin entries... In the meantime, if you get a chance, check out this little ditty called Galactic Groove Gas. I'm using Nuendo2 (I just got it) and I'm still trying to figure out the drum VST program...please cut me a little slack. Anyway, with crappy mixdown, programming and all, here's a little something with a groove. (Guitar used is an ASAT Classic) Thanks for letting me drop in!

nicely done Jeff. Good entry, and good luck.

by the way...i like the G&L guitars alot!!

Thanks Black Star, I appreciate that! I don't expect to win, being the FNG and everything, but thought my very first "digital audio workstation, home recording project, experiment thang" was worth getting an opinion on. All anybody needs is good software, a good multi-media PC/laptop, a good amp modeler, a good guitar & bass, a good drum VST program and of course some kind of talent; and you're making and recording music. I need a lot of "seat time" with this Nuendo software...a lot!

Yeah, I own 2 G&Ls and love them; I'd never part with them. I like it when someone says, "hey, is that a Fender copy?"

Thanks again for listening Black Star.

Sounds good mate !

can be frustrating at first but once you learn soem tricks home recording is great !

i specially enjoyed the main riff at the start :thumb:

unfortunately contest has been closed for this month and i can't really add you to the voting list without resetting all the votes that have been cast so i'll move this one over to originals .. maybe wait a few days it could be eligible for febs contest :thumb:

again nice work :)

No problemo Stig, I kind of thought I was a bit late getting in the game.

I'll look forward to the Feb. contest.

Mucho thanks to you and everyone else who enjoyed my little DAW experiment; it is most appreciated. Hopefully, I can get more "seat time" with this software and improve things.

Thanks again; you guys are GREAT. :thumb:

This one has kind of a funky feel to it; a real happy sound. Parts of it remind me of an old Jeff Beck tune, Led Boots. Good job TJ!!
A million thanks ksdb!! Mr. Beck was of course a monster influence on me. The guy still amazes me with his natural talent. No one sounds like him...I've heard Eric Johnson emulate him but nobody sounds quite like Jeff.

Thanks again amigo!!

Thanks SG! Means a lot coming from you!

I still wish I had my old 67 SG, with the lyre etched tailpiece. I LOVED that axe!

I should of never sold it!

Thanks again amigo and all the best!
