Jools welcomes rock ’n’ roll legend Robert Plant, who returns with a new collective of distinguished players known as Saving Grace. They perform a couple of songs from their album, described as 'a song book of the lost and found', and Jools chats to Robert at the piano.
London singer-songwriter Olivia Dean returns with a couple of tracks from her second album, The Art of Loving, having recently scored three songs in the UK Top 10. Olivia chats to Jools, and together they perform a Carole King song at the piano.
French singer-songwriter Jehnny Beth, known for her ferocious live performances, steps out with her second solo album, You Heartbreaker, You, having previously performed on the show with her band Savages.
Scottish folk musician James Yorkston is joined by Swedish singer Nina Persson, best known as the frontwoman of The Cardigans. Together, they perform Love That Tree, taken from his album Songs for Nina and Johanna, which also features Johanna Söderberg of First Aid Kit.
Completing the line-up is the Swedish-based, British-born Nigerian Joshua Idehen, a spoken word artist, musician and poet who performs It Always Was from his debut album.
