For live purposes i use a line 6 212 spider, and it's ok. I was wondering if the vetta was that much better. lookin for a full package that does well in recordings as well as live playing. I use a v-amp for recording, cause i don't like the spider's direct sound at all.

I have a Vetta HD. Don't even get me started on it...we will be here all day. It's a spider times 1000 for live work and while the Vamp works great for recording...the Vetta will do that and a lot more if you need it. I am a huge fan of the Vetta...it's perfect for my needs and at 300 watts it will work in most any live enviornment!

Flair I like the sound that my PodXT + Atomic Amp produces. It really sounds good. I also picked up a used Line 6 Duoverb and I really enjoy the tones that produces as well. I tried my friend's Vetta II and I have to agree with VH - it ROCKS. A bit pricey but I will prolly end up grabbing one off Ebay to play with, though i am in no rush cuz I really like the Duoverb.
