Hey im in the process of finding what pieces to use on my guitar, i saw the seymour duncan LW-CH LiveWire metal pickup

are live pickups any good?..even though they run on batteries??

yeah man they are pretty good.....but EMG makes the best active pickups.....I dont reccomend active......i have guitars both with Active and None active.....they dont sound that much differnt.......the Amp is more important......i would get an Dimarzio X2N for bridge and DImarzio Tonezone for neck. just look around and decide what fits best for you. dont let people fool you into buying something. get what you like :thumb:
