hey everybody im posting this because i guess lydian or as im sure most of you are now aware .. brainpolice ... is too lazy to post himself :lol: .. i layed down a chord vamp .. simple 2 chords back n forth .. and because of his recording issues we have done this in a messed up way but it worked ok . i played the simple backing to him over yahoo messenger and he jammed over it .. i recorded his jamming over yahoo onto cool edit pro .. was all very tricky . but it came out ok and the quality considering how it was made is very good . so although im posting this ALL CREDIT MUST GO TO LYDIAN/BRAINPOLICE for outstanding solo/lead work over my simple chord vamp :)

Well, I haven't gone and tried to completely bust anyone's balls....yet. I stand alone. :)
Come on people, this wasn't originally my idea but i went along with it. And if you think I suck, please tell me! Also take into account this was recorded on YAHOO! Also take into account I actually started playing a few seconds earlier then what you hear LOL. I'd rather have people tell me I suck and this has terrible quality then be ignored.

You must have missed the point. For one it's supposed to be a jam. Maybe you didn't catch the fact that it is a recording of 2 people jamming on YAHOO MESSEGER. Its supposed to be an improvisation. Also those "voicings that don't go with the backing" is me purposefully hitting the dorian note where natural minor should be. You must be reffering to those B naturals i was hitting instead of Bbs. It does go with the backing, it's purposeful. It can't be a mistake if i purposely did it. And to my ear, it does go with the "backing" (which isnt a backing its danny jamming a chord vamp), i'm just going outside a bit and your ear isnt used to that. I dont like natural minor, so I pushed dorian. Thanks for the reply though.

Nice work.
Good choice of notes too. We can tell that BP/Lydian has oodles of music theory in his bag.
Shitty sound (but you explained) I know, I know...
