Would anyone be interested in starting a Lyric battle? Much like Guitar battle only with words. The Rappers do it all the time. So why can't the rockers do it? So this is how'd it'd go down...

One person posts about 5 lines of lyrics
and than the other persons another 5 lines of lyrics.
so yeah would anyone be interested? I'm bored thats why I'm posting this.

I think you would need more than five line to convey the theme of the song in which you are trying to express in the lyrics. I do like the idea of the battle of lyrics though...sounds interesting

10-35 lines.. I think or about 3 or paragraphs.. Kind of a collab vs lyrics. Seriously, if anyone is interested.. I'll put one up I love writing and I bet we got alot of other good lyric writers...

Battle Reply

Love was never a friend of mine,
I used to find love in the wrong places,
that was until I meet you,
your beautiful smile,
and your eyes,

and at times I didn't know what I was getting into,

sounds pretty interesting... you'd definitely have to set up some guidelines. The 2 previous ideas seem "love song" esque. Might be a good idea to define that in your battle, i.e. love song, angst rock, anthem. Let me know if it comes about.
