Mahogany Strat Project

I cut this mahogany strat out last year however I'm just getting around to finishing it. I hear mahogany has a nice warm low end tone and very little shrillness in the highs. Does anybody have further thought and experiences with Mahogany guitars?

Fat midrange and nice lows, rounded off highs, I would probally stick on a mapleneck to get some clarity, plus it will probally sound great with the longer scale lenght that Fender and alikes use, shortscale always had that strange bottomend...too little twang somehow.
I bet that it will sound great.
Les Pauls are Mahogany, so you will be in good company tone-wise :thumb:
