i really enjoyed this month , some absolutely sweet entries and another thankyou has to go to rain for coming up with the idea for this monts contest !

Well mine went for Mondola´s, it sounded so refreshing and different from the "stereotyped-classic" balads, and also listening to it with the window opened in a rainy day sounded perfect, (maybe you could add rain noise in it, would sound great). Nevertheless, I really enjoyed all of them. Good work to yall :thumb:

RjFosters Unforgotten love is great, It is from a old band? you guys should have stuck together!!!
Krimson and Robert are awesome awesome so I makes it tough to decide on this...
Verga is the best I think, but I like krimsons vocals and sound, soooo I think I vote for Krimson.

Hmmm, had a hard time deciding because of different styles and approaches. Everyone's entry is just great but one winner makes this contest worthy so I have casted my vote. One sure thing that I know, is the fact that everybody rocks!

I love so many of the entries - but I have to say wahwahs tune just did it for me. Joe king and Vergas were fucking cool and Mondolas has been going round in my head but wahwahs is class. And good work everybody :thumb:

Hard to choose this month. I loved so many of these tunes. But one stood out for me as my definition of a "ballad", so I went for that one.

Great job by all. The standard in these competitions is so high !!

This was NOT easy!!!

I have been a judge several times in contests and this was NOT an easy one to judge at all. You have to ignore your preference of style and keep focused on the techniques, was the timing consistant, does the song flow, were the vocals spot on... so many things to consider. The elimination process alone took over two hours. It came down to 8... then 5... then 3... man... you ALL rocked!! Would be EASIER if you guys made some kind of MISTAKE!! hehehe

I casted my vote for krimson. It all came down to this... I have a point system. Points for over all song, then... to eliminate... points for individual aspects of the song. krimson won by 1 point with Verga and wahwah coming in tied at second. VanMan and Wiz tied with rjfoster for third.

And hey... I love this set up too!! Made it really easy to find the songs all in one shot!! Kudo's on it!!

Depends what the format will be for next month mate. Let's get this one out of the way and then wait for Stiglar to put up the theme for next month's then you see whether you can participate, depending on what style has been chosen.
