heres my cover of the classic metallica song title track to their 2nd album the landmark ride the lightning. i did this in one night so the quality is so-so hehehe..

i doubled (actually quadrupled) the rhythm guitars to get it really really really thick and heavy

anyways pls check it out and COMMENT !!

thanks hehe. i wish i could write riffs like hetfield heheheh..i heard dave mustaine wrote one of the riffs on this song.. i think its the fast one with the "spider riff" technique..

hehe thanks for the kool comments.. but i have to say the drum sound was really crap.. hehehe.

I just listened to this one again and it rocked so hard that I downloaded it for my future listening pleasure.

Great guitar solos and tone (and slight slapback delay effect).


I just don't understand why Metallica can't be fresh, original and creative like this anymore.

KC - after 20 odd years of being celebrated/vilified and playing the game I guess they have run out of ideas.

Great take Andy - a brave one and you did a superb job.

Yeah, I guess it happens to the best of 'em. Don't know too many extremely successful bands that have not been plagued with this unfortunate side effect (running out of creative juice).

This is the ballsy tone you need to play this stuff.
It clips a bit on the bass, but it might be a problem with the encoding. Not a big deal.
It's a very enjoyable cover to listen to.

Love the bridge in the middle of song and your solo is really well done.
