hey kids, whats a good soundsfont to get that sounds kinda like the pad in the background of most vai songs? like hand on heart or all about eve or brother or something like that, i nice smooth minor or major thing to lead over...thanks

i presume youve checked out the hammersounds site for soundfonts?

the gm3 sound font has got quite a few things going for it

I've read VAI uses Triton most of the time.. That might help locating the sound you want...
