Hi guys,
Found this wonderful forum with many experts in digital amps.
I've decided to go digital due to ease of recording and i play mostly jazz which doesn't require a full tube amp which i currently have.
After doing some research, i know i need a preamp, a power amp and lastly a speaker to have a rackmount system. For the preamp, i'm intending to buy focusrite trakmaster pro... but is the preamp sold by roland and digitech any good? I intend to connect my preamp to my mac for recording purpose.
I do not know of any brand that is affordable and reliable for power amps. It would be good if there's a recommendation for power amps.
And lastly, i've a few jbl speakers lying at home which i intend to use them for my rackmount.
So can this system work and take over my marshall?
