Known Faults:

Welcome back to the MRDR Master Series with Volume 25, we have not focused on MR's pre-digital recordings at this point but MR has taped since the 1980's. One reason for the delay was the lack of being able to properly transfer the photos he shot in the "early" years. I believe he is close to a solution for this issue and we are happy to share his capture of Neil's 1987 Verona stop directly from his master tapes.

This is Recorder 2 for this show, Recorder 1 circulates from the MJ/VP master tape and is rated in the info file as VG/EX mainly due to an enthusiastic and loud audience.

MR's capture confirms it was an enthusiastic audience I have painstakingly extracted the vast majority of external audience noise (no music was harmed in this process) making this a relatively audience free recording. That along with the excellent capture should prompt repeat listening of this outstanding show.

MR took around 75 photos from his taping location as well and as is our standard, due to his generosity, have been included in the download as well as used for the front and back cover. I believe this is the first time photos from the show are being seen.

After mastering this show, it is simply a brilliant 1987 performance and comes highly recommended. It is an excellent visual and audio document of the night.

Samples and artwork provided...

Thanks to MR and his continued generosity in sharing his master recordings with the collecting community!
