Please define backing tracks for me. Also where can I go to access the ones that are available?

Welcome, a backing track is usually if you are a guitar player a track has has just drums, bass and sometimes vocals, a lot us actually record a guitar over them too and you can find a bunch in this very forum, when ya see a post of a track ya might like to play over and it has an attachment, just click on the attachment to get the track!
