Has anyone heard the Led Zeppelin tribute band No Quarter? From what ive heard, the sound exactly like Zeppelin and they are the best LZ tribute band. They are coming to my town thursday and im gonna see them. Its only $10. Or I can wait til friday and go to the CKY concert. I went 2 years ago, but when I got there it was cancelled. I dont really like CKY much anymore, but it would be a badass concert.

Linda, My friends and I used to see a cover band called No Quarter in the 90s. They were extremely good, they and another band that covered Floyd called The Machine. They used to play all around the NY, NJ area and had a huge following. I'll check to see if this is indeed the same band.

I will let you know tonight or tomorro. Im leaving for it in less than an hour. From what I heard, their producer searched the world, or the US(im not sure) for the perfect people for the band. The band members have never met until after they were formed. I hope they are as good as the original. I know they wont sound exactly like them, but they will be close. I will let you know.

Sorry, Linda, the band I was thinking of was called Four Sticks, not No Quarter. This band is damn good.

I went to the concert and it was amazing. Especially the guitarist. The singer sounded close, but not exactly like Robert Plant. I noticed that the guitarist played the same guitar as Jimmy Page. He even played the guitar/violin solo like Page did. It was an amazing show. If you get the chance to see them, do it. It was only $10 and it was one of the best concerts I have ever seen.

A band called Thoughtless People opened for them. They sucked, but they were fun to see live. I met the guitarist and the base guitarist at the fair the next day(thats where I work). Ive never met anyone famous before except Siegfreid and Roy.
