"Dingos of War"
Pinkroioshn CDR-024 (PRS-CDR-024)

Audience Cassette Master
Sony Cassette Walkman with built-in mono condenser microphone >
TDK D90 (Sides One and Two) Maxell LN90 (Side Three) > Nakamichi
Cassette Deck 1 > M-Audio Firewire Audiophile > 4 wav files >
Soundforge (join cassette sides, several patches, level adjustments) >
CDWave 1.95 > Flac Frontend (level 7, align sector boundaries) > flac

A new recorder for this fairly obscure 1988 Dry Floyd show, this is a marked
improvement on the hissy and fairly unlistenable recorder1. However, this
was recorded with a condenser microphone and the master cassettes do show some signs of being 19 years old.

Not all of us have the premium. FF used to always be pretty good for free not as good as MEGA or Mediafire but always better than Rapidgator and Turbobit. Not so anymore . They have become terrible and because of being so slow they become victims of network errors. I hope they kick it up again as I said a year ago they were flying at 500kb - 750kb. Now rapidgator is running at 90kb to 130kb and turbobits running at 60kb-120kb. Sad days for FF finally letting RG and TB outdo them. But who could know they were going to drop all of thier quickness
