Make sure you select midi channel 1 on the Pod. Also, remember the midi in goes to the midi out and vice versa. This is a common problem, especially if you're using your joystick port for the midi. I had trouble getting mine to work for the Pod and V-Amp. Like many others, I ended up getting a USB midi device (midisport 1x1)...they work perfectly for this. I'm not saying you won't get it going, but it is likely.

Thanks for the info. My computer recognizes the POD but hangs when I try to download or upload. I've thought about using a MIDI to USB attachment. I think my computers a little behind the time.
