1976-04-01-Budokan,Tokyo,Japan NEW SOURCE ("Budokan 1976 3rd Night" Wardour-505)
This is from a 1976 show in Japan, the third night at Budokan.
This CD was released today (2022-03-04) at noon on the Wardour label.
The recordings of this show have been released on the "EVSD" label, "Geisha Boys", and "Invite You To A Night At The Budokan" and others were widely known, but in my opinion, the sound quality of this recording surpasses them.
Furthermore, although this recording was made by the same taper as "Budokan 1975 1st Night" and "Budokan 1975 2nd Night", this one is the best in terms of sound quality. The reason for this is that the recording position was better than the other two.
There are some omissions due to a tape change, but these are supplemented by "Invite You To A Night At The Budokan".
I can only express my gratitude to the taper for bravely recording this wonderful material and preserving it in such excellent sound quality to this day.
