Im literally at the end!!!! AAAAAARRR

all I want to do is record guitar To PC and monitor it with ZERO latency. I mean literally Zero. I use my Line6 UX2 (its a specialised guitar audio interface) for vocals but the 0.01% of guitar latency is still too much for the type of music I play, so I brought an amp just now, tried to stick a 2-in-1 adaptor into the headphone port so I can listen with headphones while the other end goes into my PC/UX2, but it seems the amp does not like this, and cuts out the sound when both wires go in! I don't know WHAT to do. Someone mentioned that you can get amps with a 'slave' port, whatever that means. Is there any way around this? (also I need to hear a backing track while I record, but virtually all amps can do that)

Can I record a clean guitar tone from an amp into my PC (no mics, i have neighbours), while monitoring the dang sound????

anything i should buy/tips/tricks?

cheers

ps. my budget for any new hardware is sort of £100 max...($170)
if a new amp, effects would be nice but not essential seeing as i can add them in post production

Don't laugh this off just yet! I've recorded my last album and am currently writing and recording my second...hopefully will release sometime this fall. I use my iPad...newest gen...and run JamUp pro on it. I've got great results. I use an Apogee Jam interface to connect guitar to iPad...out of iPad into my guitar rig mobile interface and run everything through cubase 5. It works for iPhone also. I get great results and the tone of the amps blows me away. Here's a clip...mind you this is direct line in from iPad to video camera, and it still sounds good, but man, when I record in cubase and put some spice to it...it really sounds incredible.
