I have to play this live on stage with my brother. So could you let me know what you honestly think of this so far ? Only been tackling it for a night. I realised I had been playing the opening riff completely wrong. So now I have corrected it.

Anyway, let me know what you think of it so far...

I'm looking towards the linda's, zeppy's and El_jalapeno's as they seem to be the resident Led Zeppelin experts on the board !!!

I'm aiming for a cover of El_jalapeno, zeppy, and linda standard. Whether or not I actually achieve such a high standard is yet to be seen. But if I spend as long as I did on Kayleigh, I think I'll be pleasantly surprised...

Hi, strat78. I think you'd be surprised once you listened to the original. It's one of those songs that everyone seems to hear differently and play differently. I got the tab from Guitar Pro, and I was playing it, and thought, "That doesn't sound right..." Then I put the original on, and it's definitely the way he plays it. I just need to get the groove a little better...

By the way, I'm not saying you play it wrong. It's just a matter of nailing that groove...

It's a strange one isn't it ? You hear it in your head, and play it, thinking it's right, but listen to the record, and it's so much different.

Maybe it's just the feel and vibe of the song. You get so caught up in the feel good rock and roll that you don't really focus on how the fuck you would actually play it !!!
