12 July was the 50th anniversary of the first gig by Mick Jagger & the Rolling Stones at the Marquee on Oxford St., and BBC Radio Ulster's Ralph McLean devoted the whole of his 3rd July Soul Show to the R&B and soulful and Blues side of RS, and part of his 6th July Country Show to the country side of RS.
