The title of this boot speaks so incredibly accurately to me.

"Art Of Sound" as I will never forget the time leading up to this concert. Listening from that cherished vinyl with my best friend in my room as teens, learning every lyric, blasting it through headphones via a dual jack. Before any of this was played on the radio, becoming main stream (Closer To The Heart), or anything from "Kings" for that matter. I don't know why I'm thinking I heard Cinderella Man that night, probably because they began playing it regularly on FM shortly thereafter.

This being my first concert the "Art of Sound" set such high expectations as the standard in which I heard that evening that anything that followed within in the next 6 months either also thrilled me, or fell completely flat.
What was in my mind(?) was a "right off the record" kind of experience.

It's the only "first of" that didn't disappoint.

MY FIRST CONCERT!

Cheap Trick opened (they were booed!-" Rush! Rush! Rush!"
UFO were 2nd on the bill, They sounded great! Fan to this day...

In those days openers were not on the ticket, a surprise to most in attendence.
