Thanks for all the work!

You seem to be missing 2011 06 16 US Airways Center, Phoenix AZ. I have a decent capture - standard crowd recording fare. Want it?
Absolutely :) Thank you sir :)
Love your Zappa name, btw! Frank might be my ultimate "favorite artist of all time" if I had a gun to my head. Rush comes close, probably number 2 :p

This is an awesome collection warewolf!!
Thank you! Hope you enjoy and find some good stuff :)

Ok @zepphead (and of course everyone else, lol)

In my honest opinion, these are the best recordings - JUDGING PURELY ON SOUND QUALITY
Many tours are loaded with great captures, but these are the ones that are truly a notch above (again, imo!) :)

FOR THE RECORDINGS FROM 1996 ONWARDS, JUST BECAUSE IT IS NOT ON THIS HIGHLIGHTS LIST DOES NOT MEAN IT IS NOT STILL EXCELLENT. THESE ARE THE 9/10 or 10/10 recordings, so don't miss out on the great 8.5 or 8.75 quality recordings not listed. Hopefully this gets you (whoever is reading this) started and wanting to dig deeper!!! :D

I only collect good recordings, so you can't really go wrong with anything I uploaded for the most part, BUT, these are probably far and away the CREME DE LA CREME

This took me 2 hours to type. Hope it helps :)

Started uploading Clockwork Angels this morning at about 8am.

Just came home from a crazy hard day building a deck on my neighbor's house.

Upload is only like, not even 2/3 done yet.... :p

Here 'tis: 2011 06 16 US Airways Center, Phoenix AZ (aud)/01 Intro Film.mp3 and 31 more files

Thanks for noticing. I chose the handle a very long time ago, back in the days of newsgroups. Few recog the source - I've been asked a couple times if I'm that (techno?) musician.

Music is the best!
Thank you so much! :D

Indeed music is the best! Can't imagine where I would be without it. :)

Dude, I gotta just say, Frank changed my life. I'm only 26, I found Frank when I was about 14 or so.

For about 6 months his name kept popping up all over in magazines and books and things - figured that was a sign from the universe to check him out.

Not long after I was at a yard sale and someone was selling copies of Just Another Band From LA, Overnite Sensation and One Size Fits All

Bought all 3 for about 10 bucks. I had never heard a single second of Zappa prior to this. I took them home and threw them on my turntable and had my mind blown. I can still seriously remember that first listen of all that.

"Billy the Mountain"??? What the fuck is this? And its 20 minutes long?!

I distinctly remember loving Overnite Sensation - At my core I'm a pop-rock-guitar lover. If it has guitar and catchy hooks I'm in (Oasis, Sloan, Beatles, etc). The guitar and the song hooked me, but then what was all these weird sound effects and, did I just hear a trumpet?!

I also remember my first listen to Inca Roads and my face was on the floor. I had never heard anything like this. Then the guitar solo kicks in and just....dude....

Frank is my guy, yo. His music seriously changed me in the best of ways. How did you get into Frank?

Thank you, warewolf95, for the most righteous share! Trying to grab as much as I can. I have many of the 'classics' already, and especially appreciate the 'BEST OF THE BEST' list as an attempt to scale this down. Looking forward to your suggestions for the final three tours (Time Machine, Clockwork Angels, R40) once you have the time to put it together.

No problem :) So glad to be able to spread some stuff around for once :p

R40 is now up. Other than a few more "mopping up" shows to upload that I've received, that's everything I have :D

Courtesy user @palesun , I have now acquired my 10+ year bootleg holy grail of 5/11/97 Mountain View

To top it off he also sent me an alternate (and dare I say even better!!!) quality recording of the same show.

So, now I can update the source in the folder AND give you guys a 2nd source to compare with. :D

602 shows and counting. Thank you guys for everything. You all have been amazing and filled so many gaps for me :)

Ok, deleted 5/11/97 from the Test For Echo folder.

Uploading the upgraded version of the source in there and adding the 2nd source.

Both are excellent recordings - among the best of the tour!
"To Hear Amazing Things" is more ambient and "Happy Mother's Day" is much drier and up close (though bassier)

Both are terrific recording and worth grabbing :)

Ok, I don't know how many of you guys will see this, but for anyone wondering why a lot of the embedded artwork on shows is different, I personally love making album artwork/doing my own edits. I would much rather see band pictures and a date of the concert than some abstract art - but that's just me!

Some artwork is just horrendous (or totally lacking in the first place) so I love to do what I can to hopefully improve things sometimes. Taste is subjective but thought I would put this list here to maybe clear up any art-related confusion

All praise to the original artists, here is a list of shows where the embedded artwork is created or edited by yours truly :)
I always keep the original art in the file folders so you can always change it if wanted, lol

This sound interesting - I will give both sources a try. Cheers Warewolf!
I have been sampling some of the stuff you have been recommending - there are some great sources here!
I haven't got to the Clockwork Angels or R40 stuff yet but I would imagine the quality will be very high!
