I just got a bass v-amp pro and it has a digital output on it. does this need to be a special cable or is any phono up to the job. I tried with a cheapo phono and it doesn't seem to want to know.

Any help appreciated

TIA

i have the lead version dude , theres a few ways to link this thing , i choose to connect a single rca type "hi fi", lead from the digital out SPDIF into the digital in on the front of my soundcard . Alternatly you could come from your main left and right outputs , the XLR ones ,and go into your left and right in.I made up a lead for that purpose . but i believe this is an anologe only output i personally cannot detect much difference . I do know there are lots more combinations linking these things so its a case of what suits you the best .
