I went to guitar heaven last night :woot: I saw Savoy Brown at a 150 seat theater in York S.Carolina (its in the middle of nowhere). Kim Simonds was on lead guitar. They have been together since 1965 in one form or another, (Fog Hat was a spin-off of Savoy Brown) Kim was the founder of the group, they play blues and hard boogie and thaey can still rock! They never had a top 40 hit but had a lot of F.M. radio play in the 60's and 70's. they were a big influeince on a lot of guitarists back then (we played 2-3 SB tunes in my high school rock band (1973) I you get a chance to see them you would not be sorry!!!=the dog
