Hey y'all, I"ve got a 1996 MIM Strat that I've had for quite a while and was wanting to change it a little bit in order to play some heavier music.

I can already get decent "heavy" tones from it due to my amp but if I play in any lower tunings it tends to get "muddy" if I play on the lower strings fast. (classic rock stuff sounds awesome though  )

Anyways, I was planning on replacing the bridge pickup with a Seymour Duncan SH-6, but have no idea what (or even if) I should replace the other 2 Single coils and pots that came with the guitar.

It's an Alder body with a rosewood fret board if that makes any huge difference, But any recommendations that y'all could give would be amazing!
