Please. not this again :lol: Theres a lengthy thread buried somewhere on this String it as per the manufacturers recommendations from the bridge to the tuners. not the opposite. theres inherent tuning problems and stress on the tuners if you feed the ball end at the tuners.

Yep...I used to put them on that way becasue I was too lazy to cut the ball end off...but VB told me to stop it, so I did.:icon_nono
I don't think it puts any stress on the tuners, becasue of the locking nut....but I break less strings now. I think it's due to the fact that string always breaks right at the bridge and strings are slightly thicker at the ball end.
Oh crap! This is how I string my Wolfie up all the time! I do it so I dont sratch up the headstock.. well, that, & it's faster. OK, I'll stop, my bad... Don't be hatin'
