I bought my last sets of strings from them. I liked the acoustic strings. I bought a set of 10's for my strat, and like the Fender strings I had on it before, they were dead right out of the package. D'Addarios from now on only. I also bought another set of 10's for my Artcore, and they were acceptable on that guitar. I just put the last set (9's) on my RG and they seem ok. I think I'll just stick to the D'Addarios...they're shrink-wrapped and air tight and they always seem fresher.

Just remember that SRV also tuned down, and that SRV was one strong son-of-a-bitch. If you're used to 9/10 guage string and go to a 13, you're going to wind up with wrist tendon problems.

when i was playing on higher gauge strings i felt like I never picked up a guitar before..my chords didn't sound normal..i couldn't get any ed screams out..tryed readjusting my action and still no good..so i put my slinky's back on and readjusted the action to where i had it and was fine..also tryed a pair of zack wyldes boomers ...the E wouldn't even fit in the saddle thats how big them monkeys are..i think it was like lol 70 or 60 something for e...they were FAT..but didn't get to try them cause they were so damn big and wouldn't fit into my saddle for the neck..

As promised got the strings today and strung both the strat and the fender acoustic. I very happy with the sound and the feel of both. I did notice that the 6th string on the electric 8s was a tad bigger gauge but didnt effect anything as far as setup or anything. 123 String it, tune it, beatit, tune it, ,,,done! Im happy.

Ok here is my experince in guitar strings... i used to use d'addario's,, they corrode wayyyyyy too fast and arent worth the money for 4 bucks a pack,, i tried fenders,, not bad but the same they corrode also. so far,, the best strings on the market i have found that last,, BUT,, if you are willing to pay 9 dollars for a set,, and i am telling you guys,, they are worth every penny,,, and they do not corrode,, and they last up for along ass time,, you need to buy the brand Elixir. i m not bullshitting you guys on this,, i have tried alot of brands like daneelctro,, martin,, gibson,, boomers,, etc,, and none of em compare to the Elixir's. I wouldnt bullshit anyone.I recently about a month ago bought some cheap set of strings for a few bucks and they corroded in a wek. i went this past saturday to get some Elixar's. I have em on my strat now and there is not one spec of corrode on em and i am to lazy to wipe strings down and with the coating the Elixar's have,, I am truly impressed with the quality of em. I know you guys are gonna say 9 dollars is too much,, but trust me,, you will save money buy putting a set of the Elixar's on cause the life span on em is a hell of alot longer than the rest of the brands.

thanks for the tip man ... i sorta had the feeling factors like that could be a problem .... i used to try bending on acoustic guitars all the time and i could feel it killing my wrist and stuff ...

might just stick to the 10's !
