I have enabled the Gold and Platinum memberships again as follows. This is of course subject to change if we find flaws in the new system.

Gold: can download 100 megs per day

Platinum: can download 200 megs per day

I have turned off file limits for all groups because if they get a file that doesn't download it still counts it. Also, Registered Users get 20 megs per day by default.

My proposal for your share in this is $15 per gold and $20 per platinum, does this sound fair to you?

This is only applicable to the new bacing track section as it's a completely independent from the board other than user and group integration so it won't affect the regular (non BT) music sharing at all

I am glad you are on my side dude lol, I offered him to upload tracks here if he wanted but I would never do it at the expense of making him an officer on the site. If they get big enough at that site they will have to pay the bandiwdth costs for high volume and it doesn't come cheap. I guess I will have to take steps to keep those I know of from ripping us off. Khaos probably has at least the collection you do so they may not need to come here for them, it's hard to tell.

Well, I banned zer09er and his IP. Here is there host http://www.virtualisp.co.uk/ their max plan offers 25 GB in bandwidth a month. We go through that in a few days here, if they get large enough they will have to pay and I would anticipate it's when they'll stop unless that dude has a good job :thumb:

You would think by now that someone would have subscribed, there are a lot of people in there viewing but something doesn't seem right. I guess we will have to give it some time.

Yeah, that must be the case. When working right 50 megs a day = a lot of files, I upped it because of complaints that they couldn't download files.

Basically, that works out to 1.5 free gigs a month for registered users :shock:

You can refer them to me if you want, I don't mind even at 25 a day they are getting a pretty good deal for free and it's making our bandwidth skyrocket so they can live with it or go suck down some of the other BT site's BW lol. If it results in a loss of regular site registrations that's something I can live with, they all just want a free ride anyway.
