Tangerine Dream - London Dominion Theatre 6th november 1982. (Aud Master/Flac)

Audience Master - Sound quality is Very Good.

My Audio Cassettes > My Pc > this Flac

Evening (8:45pm) show. There was also an earlier performance that day.

Part 1 - Set 1 complete (44:54)
Part 2 - Set 2 part 1 (48:09)
Part 3 - Set 2 end (3:43)
Part 4 - encore 1 (4:38)
Part 5 - encore 2 (5:30)
Part 6 - encore 3 (6:43)

Recorded onto a TDK-AD90 casette tape with dolby off, from the middle of the balcony using an Awai recording walkman
plus external stereo mic.
Transferred August 2007 from the Master cassette tape into Adobe Audition.
One of my better sounding recordings so I have only normalised.
No other audio processing has been used.

Enjoy this superb show from Germanys greatest experimental electronic band, when they were last great.

Do not sell or encode to MP3s.

I haven't listen this bootleg, but I'm pretty sure that it must be very similar to the Logos album from that very year, which is one of the masterpieces of this trio, and one of my favorite TD albums. Thanks a lot for this. I'm gonna check the other sets you have posted. Thanks again. ; - )

Hi JM - Hope you like it. The Logos LP/CD was recorded on this date and at this venue, but I never got it as I taped this show. There were definitly two shows that night so I don't know which one the band recorded and released.
I agree this was an other peek in TD career - I love the way songs just floated into one an other, just like inthe 70's. No guitar from Egdar Frose on this, which is a shame, but the rest of the set is superb. I saw them 8 years later and nearly cried - not how I like them - seemed to be short songs of nearly dance music - Sort of lost interest since, but still love that 76 - 82 era. I have the two Bootleg Box sets from 74 - 86 which I love and for me was them at thier best.
Hope you enjoy the show.

Thanks for information. This is an awesome set. I think TD is a superb electronic group, that doesn't receive the attention and recognition that they deserve, specially on the dance movement, where they definetively are so influential as Kraftwerk, at leats. But this help to maintain them as a cult group, differently from Kraftwerk, which is doesn't mean by any means that I considered them a bad group. But its clear that Tangerine Dream its still a band for connossieurs. I hope you can fixed the other link from one of your uploads, 'cause I can't download.

By the way. If you look into Google, you will find that exists another Logos edition which is a double CD, that includes complete Logos album and some other pieces, probably some of that you have recorded here. Its a reconstruction of the whole set made by some fans. By any chance you or some friend of yours would have this album? It would be nice to compare both works, didn't you think?

Hi jmrecillas. Thanks for the link to the info. Seems like that double CD is a boot. Interesting site by a really dedicated fan - so much info.

Which link is not working? I'll try and re upload it.

Thanks

Hi jmrecilias again. Yes that double boot looks like its from my tapes. I did freely make cassette copies of it back in the day, but I had pretty poor and unmatching cassette decks. So it could be from an unknown generation copy, perhaps mixed in with the official album? However this digital transfer was done again recently as high quality as possible. I hope as many people as possible can enjoy it.
Anybody else like to post some classic TD from 74 - 82? Would be greatly appreciated.
Rock On !
