Hollywood Bowl 1964 (Brand New Tape) (Feb 2012)

I have been given permission by the owner of this tape to post this on my blog.
This is a project I completed a while ago, and is the best sounding version of the 1964 Hollywood Bowl concert I have ever heard.
This is specially remastered from the original source tape, and should be a real treat to your ears.

01 - "Twist and Shout"
02 - "She's a Woman"
03 - "Dizzy Miss Lizzy"
04 - "Ticket To Ride"
05 - "Can't Buy Me Love"
06 - "Things We Said Today"
07 - "Roll Over Beethoven"
08 - "Boys"
09 - "A Hard Day's Night"
10 - "Help!"
11 - "All My Loving"
12 - "She Loves You"
13 - "Long Tall Sally"

With all those songs from the film Help, one would think that is was '65 based on the movie's release date.
From Google:

"The Beatles second movie Help! had its Royal World Premiere at the London Pavilion Theatre in the West End of London on July 29, 1965 and in the United States on August 25, 1965"

No it is 1964

A complete tape of the August 1964 performance found its way out of the Capitol vault in the early 1970s and was the basis of a popular bootleg LP, Back in 64 at the Hollywood Bowl.

Thanks for the post. This is a copy of the official 1977 release from Capitol records, which was recently reissued with bonus tracks. The leaked complete sets, one from 1964, and two from 1965 have been in circulation in excellent condition for years.

Like Ziggy said, it's a clone of the 1977 release ("...songs compiled from performances at the Hollywood Bowl in August 1964 and August 1965."). The complete shows (1964 and two fro 1965) are readily available, but this is still a great release, so thanks Accountant for the post!

I spoke too soon. I've downloaded and unzipped it, and it turns out this is the complete 1964 concert. The songs unzip as:
1. Intro
2. Twist And Shout
3. You Can't Do That
4. All My Loving
5. She Loves You
6. Things We Said Today
7. Roll Over Beethoven
8. Can't Buy Me Love
9. If I Fell
10. I Want To Hold Your Hand
11. Boys
12. A Hard Day's Night
13. Long Tall Sally

Thanks again, The Accountant!
