I wish I could pick like Leo Kottke, but I can't. I wish he'd teach me! Heres a song I did of his called "The Fisherman". I guess it's still kinda pretty even though I don't pick like Leo.

This is me playing my Fender F-210 with a splash of reverb from Cool Edit.

Rest In Peace In Guitar Heaven Dimebag!

And everyone said "AMEN!"

Nice job man, Kottke's one of the best and you did a good cover here. Its a tough song to play, I learned it a while back and your covers better than I ever played it.

Well hell thanks micoyote1! I'm really glad you liked it.

I did the song for a girl out in Oregon who was feeling blue one morning. So it's not like I practiced it for 3 days before I recorded it.

Thanks again!

Wow thanks prosbloom225 that was nice of you to say!

It is* a tough song to play - and I'm not even playing it like Leo does - he finger-picks like Superman on the tune. I wish I could do that - I need to learn it some day.

I did the song for a girl I know out in Oregon who was feeling down one morning. So I didn't practice the song for days before I recorded it. Although I have* been messing about with the song for a few months. I drive a semi-truck all over the USA - and I listen to a lot of tunes out there on the road. "The Fisherman" was a tune I listen to quite often.
