The Grateful Dead -
Lusk Field House, SUNY, Cortland, NY;
April 18, 1971

Another version of this concert was previously here on TTD - Grateful Dead 1971-04-18 SUNY shn bstrohl 2010-09-17 inactive showthread.php?t=85432. See file included in this post, comments make some nice points. That was shnid: 7112. Not a reseed, this is a different recording with less hiss but still keeps the interactions with the band, as at the end of d1t04, d1t05. Maybe we should work through the rest of this week - those other '71 must have recordings that bstrohl mentions in his text.

dl from 2017-11-24 rx. part of the [gdead_1971_project.5] coordinated by Mojoe.

This is a tagged version of shnid: 130710

Recording Info:

Transfer Info:

Patch in Set 2, track 9 from 03:20 to end is from unknown mono sbd source.
This fresh transfer is a nice upgrade over existing sources which are very
degraded with loud tape hiss.
Keyboards are not in mix. 24 minute plus "Good Lovin'"...Are you kidding me?
Alternate arrangement of "Around And Around". This is classic '71 Dead.
Sounds like Jerry is playing his black Les Paul guitar.

Transferred, tracked and mastered by Bill Guarneri, July 22, 2014.

Tagging notes:
Show information is embedded within the header of each flac file.
It will display on any player capable of directly playing flac
files. If converted to wav during processing, all tags will be
stripped, however audio data will remain unaffected. If you must
transcode to a lossy format, do so directly Flac > Lossy.
Use ffp to validate audio integrity.
Md5 values will change if tagging is altered.
