Superb soundboard recording of this complete show, taken from the Feline tour, including a weird "cocktail version" of Bring On The Nubiles. The end of the concert is kind of chaotic, as the Stranglers get nasty and make some funny snide comments about the audience...

Did they ever perform "Skin Deep" live? i've looked up all the bootlegs on this site and don't see it in any of the setlists. Strange since it was a semi hit (and their only one) here in North America, it's the song most people here know them by.

Yes they did, during the Aural Sculpture tour, in 1985. There are several great recordings from these concerts. Zurich 14 04 1985, for instance. BTW, the live version of Skin Deep was, IMO, much better than the studio version. :bigbrain2

Thanks for the info radiolux. I've located that Zurich show via google and downloading it now. I'm surprised it wasn't already up on here. As for the live version sounding better, i'm sure i'll agree, i think all music sounds best live. :)
