Beautiful guitar tone, but a bit too loud in the mix IMO.

I like how you express yourself. Few notes, heartfelt...
Nice use of the whammy bar to prebend notes too! I like some of the pinched harmonics here and there too. The whole bag of tricks is out! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

PS.. was wonderin if you might be interested in collabing sometime on one of these slow pieces?

Thanks guys...very kind of you all.
Heh yeah I had it loud because I wanted the dynamics from a whisper to loud.
;) and the pinches where divebombs in disguise..hehe love them
Plus the neck pickup really is loud and fat on this guitar.
That would be awesome GW:bowdown:......
Hehe Gibson that is quite ok, and thanks once again :)

Excellent phrasing. Parts of your playing remind me of Allan Holdsworth and that's awesome that you can play that way.

I thought the guitar was a bit loud, as mentioned above, especially toward the beginning of the song. Compression on the song can help even things out a bit and still keep the guitar part prominent during the soft parts.

I like the mood and theme behind the song. I can relate. Bring back the sun!!

Thanks man...very kind indeed.
Well I do not like compression much.....I have had quite a few, I always end up disconnecting them:smirk:
Because no matter how good they are...they always muck up the dynamics I like.
Plus it was abit on purpose...wanted it as naked as possible....I am a sucker for clarity:D
Anyways the backtrack can drown one out...it is very hypnotic...hehe

I hear ya on the compression. There's a fine line between when it sounds good and when it just ruins everything. I've had some reasonable luck with a plug-in called Endorphin (a freebie) and I've heard some stuff done with Ozone 3 (definitely not a freebie) that was really impressive, but those can be overdone too.

I got a CM compressor that I use alot for clean stuff though, love it there.
Well I use it sometimes for stuff where I player heavier things...which I rarely do these day..hehe
