btw i know a lot of people say that i overplay or am too much into tech.. it's true i'm a tech freak but I focus on the music in my head, besides all the borring practice that i started doing right away when i began with the guitar, I also trying to pay moer attention to the note choices i would choose most commonly in my head, the ones that i would feel in my head, and a lot of them unfortunatlly are not too guitar friendly or designed for the guitar..regardless i put a lot of time focusing on what i would do over a track or background music singing (lol you'd never catch me singing even in a shower but i can hum ok i think lol) and just practiced those ideas to hell. Also.. I always felt that the more technique the better because the faster you can get those notes you are hearing in your head on the fretboard (means pretty much a lot of practicing boring stuff too lol) the closer the music will come out as you feel it. I don't think that you should ever comprimize what you truly feel in your head because of lack of enough technique. I like to think of myself as a musician more then a guitar player, using the guitar as a medium for my music.. that said lol i'm also a wank freak so yeah i over do lol I never was into many sports xept a phase of body building at one point lol So consider some of my wankage as my effort to be a sport person at times lol
