I had a Vox AD15VT then returned it for a Vox AD100VT
I have never heard so many true-to-life amp similations.
The AD30 and up has a Wattage control. So, you can set it at 1 watt and crank it up. It's still pretty loud at 1 watt.
I tried the Cube 60 last year and it was on my "to get" list, until I came across the Vox AD VT Valvetronix series.
By the way, the tube is not in the pre-amp, but in the power section. If you "line out", the tube is bypassed.
Pricing: VOX wins.
Amp Models: I like what I hear with Vox. Can't really comment about Cube, as it was OK, but Vox was real.
I just might get another AD15VT for hacking around on. Only downfall is it doesn't have the wattage control.
