Found this one lurking on the hard drive as " Hary More "! Must have been on the turps again! Anyway, Gary Moore is one of my heroes and this track was always one of my faves...used to play it in Black Rose back in the day.
Because there are no vocals, I did a sorta Hank Marvin stylee (it was listening to sgstd's post today that got me lookin' for this one!) and there are a good few harmony lines on it. I remember at the time I was real concerned not to get it 'clipping' because of all the guitar so maybe the mix is a bit suspect in places.
I'd like to see Gary Moore writing stuff like this and 'The Loner' again as, though I enjoyed his blues period, I don't think it's as good as his stuff on albums like 'Corridors Of Power', 'After The War', 'Victims of The Future' and 'Run For Cover'. For anybody wanting to hear him REALLY wail, look out for his 'G-Force' album which, besides the dodgy guitar tone, has him trying to do an EVH on a track called 'Rockin' and Rollin' and has some brilliant rock tracks such as 'You' and 'She's Got You' which has an absolutely mind-blowing solo! This album came out in 1981 and might be hard to find these days but if you see it, BUY it!
