Ok, so I want to start recording songs with my acoustic at home, and I have found what I would want to use (im not spending thousands untill I master mixing music) and I want to make sure this is all I will need. here are the links

do I need any pre-amps, or any special cables? I know the techniques on HOW to record, I need to know WHAT to record with. Please help

I think you're good for recording, make sure you have a mic stand.

Here's an alternative recording solution if you want to record in a different way:

Have this pickup (http://www.amazon.com/Dean-Markely-...8&s=musical-instruments&qid=1250983928&sr=8-7) take the sound from your acoustic to your computer using the M Audio Session and record from there. It's cheaper, and the pickup is pretty good.

How I record: I take my signal from my electric, bring it into my pedal, and plug out into my computer with Guitar Rig Mobile.
