Just curious to see what you guys and girls are hoarding out there. What's the coolest piece of VH memorbilia that you own? For me it would have to be some ticket stubs from the Cabo Wabo Cantina from when Sammy played there. They were given to me by the manager when I visited there along with a bottle of Sammy's tequila supposedly emptied by Sammy. Who knows? (I did get to take a leak in Sammy's private bathroom upstairs though, LOL)

I have that VH poster set from 1982. It has 5 full size posters, 1 of each band member, plus a group on stage poster. I got them when I was a kid, had them up in my room. They are out in the garage now. I saw them for sale at the vanhalenstore.com a few years back, they wanted $99 for the Eddie poster. I think I only paid a few bucks for the poster back then.

Ya know the b/w band pic from the back of the WACF album? They made a poster just of that pic. No logo, no "Van Halen", just the pic. If you ever catch reruns of One Day At A Time or Who's The Boss, the poster is hanging in the girl's bedrooms. Anyway, at the time (1987), it was the only VH poster that I knew existed that I didn't have.

A family friend has just bought an old record store he was going to convert into a shoe store. The walls were covered with rock n roll posters that they sold so I was asked to help him take all the posters down and I had a couple of friends help me out. Part oif the deal was we could keep anything we wanted. They used to just hang the new posters over the old ones so there was about 4-5 posters deep.

Underneath it all, somehow in mint condition, was that poster, which immediately became my favorite. I wasn't even supoosed to be there, and best of all, got the poster for free.

I have this Van Halen authentic certificate that I cannot remember what it is authenticating anymore. I also have a stripey canvas that the wife has had made for me for Christmas along with my stripey cup and plate she had made for me as part of my Wedding Anniversary gift.

Of course, my 5150 Kramer. I love that !

I also have a couple of pictures of the man himself from NAMM that someone sent me.

I also have numerous other things but I am too tired to remember at the moment !

I have a bunch of magazines and stuff from the 80s, but my favorite stuff is what I got this summer. I was in the Golden Rings in Grand Rapids, MI, and Mikey actually pressed a pick into my hand. That is my favorite piece. In Chicago (Rings again) he gave me his beer, and I still have the Solo cup! LOL There could be DNA on there, you never know. ;)

Around 1982 in high school woodshop, I made the Van Halen logo out of a block of wood. I still have it and it is proudly displayed on my Van Halen wall in my Rock n Roll Hall of fame :)

Cubs Hat

:icon_thum I have all kinds of stuff from Cabo but the one thing that really kicks ass is my Chicago Cubs hat that Sammy signed inhis restaruant. I'm sure everyone has heard all kinds of stories about Sam but he really is a very nice guy . He took the time to talk to me and ask questions about myself and thanked me for comming all the way to Cabo. Class act all the way!
